Last Saturday my United Cerebral Palsy Program took us bowling @ Melody Lanes in Brooklyn...I was looking forward to an exciting game of bowling with my friends. Instead we were left put to the side because the lanes were not wheelchair\handicap accessible..There was not any flat surfaces to even place a ramp and the spaces was very narrow. The bathroom was not accessible no where in the building.. Is that a public building and the law is all public buildings should be ADL accessible.. Why? Is Melody lanes not accessible? I have tweeted them and Facebook them asking why? No one has got back to me as yet.. So I guess I have to start writing my letter.. I need answers this is not fair... Shame!
