This past Friday I had an interview with New York Public Library oral historial project for viable lives and people with disabilities
In the past I would be a nervous rack to speak in public but over the years it has been an honor to have a voice for myself and people just like me
But when I was given such an awesome opportunity to see that the community is stepping to increase disability awareness and being able to share my story with the public was the best.
Some people so use to basing themselves on statics instead of hearing it from a person who has personal experience.
All what I spoke about came from the heart my vision and some thoughts I never knew how to explain to a proffessional who work with people disabilities and is still set in a mind set that I strongly disagree with..I see productive in each person ability including minds there is something a person can accomplish from a mild to a serve disability
I was ask what makes inspired each day to do what I do is I don't dwell on my disability I focus on my abilities..it gives me the most courage!
